EQSIS Pulse keeps a record of your reading on this browser: the pages you open, the stories you see and tap, when you open an EQSIS course page or a learning page from EQSIS Pulse, how long and how far you read, what you follow, save and share (and how you share it), how you react to a story (such as Useful or Want deeper), your vote in a poll, that you searched and how many results you got (not the words you searched for), the site that sent you and any campaign name in the link you followed, your type of device and your browser's language. The record is linked to a random ID kept in a cookie, not to your name, email address or phone number. If you are signed in to your EQSIS account, it is also linked to that account, and joined with your reading on other browsers where you signed in to it. If someone else's EQSIS account was signed in on this browser before yours, what you read here while signed in goes instead to a separate record linked to your account.
We use it to choose stories for you and to learn what readers find useful. We keep the detailed record for 13 months. We do not sell your data.
You can stop this at any time: choose Decline under Privacy and preferences. That one Decline also stops the eqsis.com analytics and advertising tools. There you can also ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or erase it. Questions: write to info@eqsis.com.
