Long and Short are positions which basically mean Buying & Selling of Shares.
Longwinding is selling the shares to close the long position
Short Covering is buying the shares to cover short position

It is possible to buy stocks from BSE and sell it on NSE, provided the company is registered with both the exchanges. This type of trading is also known as Arbitrage Trading. This type of trade cannot take place during Intraday as the position needs to be closed on the same day with the same broker and exchange.

One can place an order by opening a DEMAT account which is registered with SEBI
There are 2 types of order Long & Short also known as buy & sell order
Validity Order consists of 2 types : Intraday – where validity is 1 day & has to be done before the market closes at 3.30 pm

If the quoted price is high in the auction market, the deal will be made immediately by the first seller and at the price quoted by the seller.
