    IPO means Initial Public Offereing.

It is the process by which companies raise capital by offering their shares to the general public.

A company has to get SEBI’s consent by providing necessary documents and advertise about its public offer.

    IPO is Initial Public Offering.

When the required capital for running the business is received from the public, it is called Public Offering and if it is done for the very first time then it is called Initial Public Offering.

To apply IPO we must approach SEBI and submit all necessary documents as demanded by them.

IPO means Initial Public Offer. The promoter of the company has to apply for an IPO with SEBI by providing the required documents for the same. When the capital required for operating the business comes from public it is called public offering, if the same happens the first time it is called Initial Public Offer.
