Introduction to Future and Option Market by NSE in 2007 made it popular when compared to BSE. The Future and Option Market provided a better platform for buyers and sellers to trade profitably, thus NSE attracted a lot of traders than BSE.

NSE has become popular than BSE for two main reasons.

    (1) Introduction of Future and Option in 2007

    (2) NSE is highly liquid when compared to BSE.

    1. NSE is a National Organization that opens more opportunities to all the brokers across India, whereas BSE was sticking to only Bombay.

    2. Interestingly, NSE introduced the new products options & futures to India which yielded more profits.

    3. The trading volumes are high in NSE compared to BSE.
