How to place order? Types of order? Validity of order?
After proper analysis we need to place order to execute a trade. An order is placed online using the web-portal or trading software provided by the broker. The order can be either buy / sell. We can buy/sell the stock at the market price which will get executed immediately at the current trading price of the stock or we can manually enter the price at which we would like the order to be executed know as limit order. In Limit order the trade will be executed only if it finds the buyer/seller of the price that is quoted, the order will remain pending till it finds the matching price and gets cancelled if it fails to get executed before 3.30 pm.
The order needs to be placed using DEMAT account with the details on the share price, quantity and buy or sell order. This will be routed to exchange through broker.
The order can Limit Order(Executed when the meets the mentioned price), Market Order( Executed at the market Price) and Stop Loss Order(Executed when reached the mentioned threshold value)
The order will be valid until 3.30PM of the trading day and all the remaining orders will get cancelled after that.
We have an DEMAT a/c for placing a order in the stock market. The a/c are under the control of SEBI. On the user id we can make buy order or sell order.
There are 3 types of order: 1. Normal order 2. Super multiple 3. Stop loss order
The order are valid for one trading day only. If the stock cannot be buy or sell with in the day. The order will be cancel automatically..
now a days due to digitalization the stocks can be brought and sold by self using the software that the broker provides, so while doing the same the investor should be are of different types of orders first is the market order where in we will buy and sell stocks immediately at the best price. the second order is limit order where in we can limit the buy and sell price.
