If I quote high price than others, I get a better chance than others and will be placed first in queue. Better chance of getting the order executed. The buyers list is in descending order of price quoted.

Stock Trading is a business if trader buys or sells shares based on Knowledge and discipline doing rational thinking without any emotions.
Stock trading is gambling if its done for sheer thrill and pleasure and without discipline

We cannot trade Nifty and sensex. These are not stocks but just index or average or numbers indicating how the market is performing on a particular day.

Primary Market :This is first time when shares are allocated to shareholders by the company through IPO
secondary market:The Stock exchanges like BSE and NSE are secondary markets where traders buy and sell shares which are already listed in stock exchanges

Trading : Buying and selling of stocks within short time. May be intraday which is within a day or With a few days,Weeks or 1 or 2 months

Nifty: Nifty is an index or average of the top 50 performing companies in National Stock Exchange.
These are indicators or Numbers to show how the market is performing in BSE and NSE

Share holders does not have the right to ask for refund /Dividends. A share holder can get his money back by selling his shares in stock market. Giving Dividend to share holders is solely at the discretion of the company .

Share Holder:- A share Holder is a person who owns shares/Stocks of the company. He does not run the company and does not have rights to take decisions in running the company
Promoter:- A person who first started the company or promoted the company. He may own some shares of the company. He need not be the person running the company.
