    Primary market is where the investors buy the shares from the company is called primary market. However, in secondary market investors can trade the shares with others and this where the selling and buying of the shares take place, wherein the company does not participate in the secondary market.

    In the primary market the shares are allotted to person directly from the company through IPO. The secondary market is the place where the share owners and buyer meet to sell and buy the shares which is allotted primarily through IPO.

    Primary Market is the place where the shares are allocated directly from company. sEShares are traded for the first in the market. Eg: IPO.

    Secondary Market is the place where people transfer the share rights from person to another. It is process of re-selling of shares allocated by the company.
