What happens if I quote high price to buy a stock compared to its current market price?

Buyer will b the first choice in the buyers list as the price is quoted higher than market price. Seller would b willing to sell t the price quoted by the buyer.The order will be executed immediately.

If I quote high price than others, I get a better chance than others and will be placed first in queue. Better chance of getting the order executed. The buyers list is in descending order of price quoted.

Unless and untill we analysis the share price is overvalued or undervalued, buying higher price will lead to loss

Unless the bid price is not overvalued, the trading happens at once if the bid price of a stock is higher than its current market price.
