First, you will be given more preference. However the transaction happens at the prevailing market price.
Generally in stock market , highest price quoted by the buyer will be given first preference . there will be a comparison between the market price and other price . It may depend on the willingness of the seller who may sell at the best and favourable price .
the price that currently prevails at the exchange will only get executed even if the buyer quotes higher purchase price.
Even if we quote higher price the exchange will consider that we are ready to pay up to the quoted price and gets the order executed at the current prevailing market price.
