Yes, global markets affect the price movement due to globalization. Because the whole world has become very inter-dependantĀ on each other, any adverseĀ effect on overseas market will affect our market.

To trade intraday, you need to check the following trends.
1)Global trend
2)FII, DII Activity
3)Indian market trend.
If these give you mixed data, it better we don’t trade. If there is a common trend, then we check the top 2 performing index on the and select the 2 stock from anyone of them. Then select one stock bases on momentum and volume.

It is not mandatory to close the position, but since we make the buy-sell decision based on the intraday charts and not on the historic data, it is advisable to close the trade on a day-today basis.

after a uptrend if a red candle stick is formed covering more than half the body of the previous candle stick, it is called piercing pattern. We hay sell the stock then. Similarly vise vera during a downtrend.

after a good uptrend if a candlestick is formed with a very big lower tail and open and close very close, but open lower than close then it is called a hammer or hanging man.

After a uptreandĀ if a bearish candle stick is formed engulfing the previous stick with good volume, then it indicates there is a trend reversal and we can short the stock.

after a good up trend if a candle stick is formed where the opening price and the closing price is the same but there is a good volatilityĀ in the days high and low price then it means there is going to be a trend reversal. This pattern is called DOJI. The same is for the reversal.
