How come NSE become popular than BSE?

NSE has high liquidity as most people through out India trade in NSE and it has more stringent rules for the companies to get listed than BSE, so it is considered more secure than the BSE.

In NSE, liquidity of the shares traded was high compare to BSE because it adopted to much faster technologies where people can buy and sells shares sitting at home. The market for NSE was greater than compared to BSE. It has more transparency to offer than BSE.
