Sensex is the price index of introduced by BSE for the top 30 companies in India. Nifty is the price index for top 50 companies in India.
SENSEX: Sensex is nothing but an index or average of the top 30 performing companies in Bombay Stock Exchange.
Nifty: Nifty is an index or average of the top 50 performing companies in National Stock Exchange.
These are indicators or Numbers to show how the market is performing in BSE and NSE
Top 30 company’s listed in BSE that index is called Sensex. Top 50 company’s listed in NSE that index is called Nifty.
sensex is index of 30 companies listed in BSE & Nifty is index of 50 companies listed in NSE
