The stock market can be analysed using fundamental analysis and technical analysis. Fundamental analysis is company oriented and technical analysis is market oriented .
The fundamental analysis will give you the true picture of the company and will say how good they are in the long run but it takes too much time and cost for the investors. Hence it is affordable only for the high net worth individuals.
The technical analysis is all about demand and supply. It only requires the price and volume. Easy to understand and affordable for the retailers. One major drawback is that it cannot be used as tool for long term investing.
