Long: Buying when market suppose to go up
Short: Selling the share when market is going down and purchasing the same when market still falls down. (for creating short its not necessary to have share in hand)
Long Unwinding: Selling the long position stocks
Short Unwinding: Buying the share for existing the short position

The order needs to be placed using DEMAT account with the details on the share price, quantity and buy or sell order. This will be routed to exchange through broker.

It is possible to buy from BSE and sell in NSE provided the software provided by the broker has the option to trade in both markets. However it wont be feasible to execute the trade as there will be very minimal price variation in the stocks and considering the brokerage and other transaction charges we wont sell the share in this manner

No, they don’t have rights to ask refund or dividends of the share. Since, the amounts have been invested in business, whereas they were allowed to exchange the share to other interested party via SHARE MARKET
