as soon as the buyer’s demands meets the matching seller the trade gets executed. if not,then the trade will take long time to execute ie. till both the party’s demands are met.

the stock exchanges know that there might be some cases where they have to meet uncertainties so they prepare themselves well by receiving a caution deposit from the brokers at the beginning. so, they use this amount to settle the transaction and to face counter party risk when there are dues from traders.

we can place orders online to the broker. types of orders: long,long unwinding , short, short covering.
validity is till 3.30 in intraday while in demat the limit is for longer time.

yes. it is possible to buy shares from BSE and sell it in NSE. but,
the company should be listed on both the exchanges.
the broker should be registered with both the exchanges.
t+2 days time will be taken to settle the transaction.

when we buy the shares for the first time when our analysis shows that the prices will rise then we create a long position. to execute the long position we place the buy order. to exit the long position we place a sell order.
