There are two types of orders buy order and sell order.people can place order through this. If the order type is long so the validity of the order is valid till it get sold.if it’s intraday it will have to be executed before 3.30

There will be an intermediary person called broker between both the buyers and sellers. If any of the counter party not paying the amount the exchange will take the amount from the caution deposit given by the broker and settles the party

If you quote high price for the stock. The exchange will take your price as “your willing to buy upto that high quoted amount” so the buyer will get the stocks from the current top sellers bid price

It depends when the stock is more liquid and have high volume the trading can be done in 2 mins
If the stocks have illiquid and less volume then the trade will happen only the buyers and sellers meet

Positional trading duration more than 3 years in other words. Stocks are bought in a long term investment perspective
Intraday trading duration is one-day where the stocks buying and selling should be done and exit the position in a single day

Long is a position – where we will make the buy order to get the shares ( usually last more than 3 years )
Short is a position – where we will sell the stocks first to buyback later (validity single day)
