Yes share holder has right to ask for refund.
But, share holder cannot ask for dividends. only the company will distribute the dividends to all share holder.
Share holder has no rights to ask for refund and dividends. In case he want money he can sell his share in share market. Issuing dividends depends upon the companies opinion.
Share holder cannot ask for refund. He can opt out of the company by selling his shares. When Dividend is declared by the company board then the shareholder has the right receive dividend.
thereis no rights for a share holder to ask for refund or dividends. if the share holder does not have intrest to posses the share means he has all the rights to sell the share. the same case is applicable for dividends also even though he is a share holder it is company which has to decide whether to give the dividends or not. the company may use the profits for expansion of project.
