    No, he has no right to ask for refund or dividend,because the amount which he invested is utilised by company for the business expansion.But he can sell his shares in the stock market.(Secondary Market)

    A shareholder cannot have the right to ask for a refund. But he can transfer his shares to others and get money. So they do not have rights to ask for refunds and dividends.

    Shareholders do not have the right to ask for a refund or dividend once they have invested, instead shares that are held by the individual can be sold in secondary markets to redeem the invested money.
