The Average turnover in NSE on Daily Basis is near to 3 Lakh Crores daily it will surely vary depending the Buyers & Sellers.
In Stock Market Stock Price manipulating is happening some time but SEBI is there to protect even though it is happening by strong hands.

The Price Movement will occurs based on the Demand & Supply of the Stocks in Share Market.
If the Demand is Greater than Supply then the Price Movements will be High.
If the Supply is Greater than Demand then the Price Movements will be Low.

If the buyer quote high price to buy a stock also the exchange will take the Market price/Sellers Price only because for market price 100 if you quote 1000 also it will take as UPTO 1000 so the buy order will be end up within the Sellers price.
