Demand and supply of stock changes the price of the stock. If there is more demand for the stock, then the price goes up. If there is more supply (people selling more) then the price of the stock goes down.

Long is buying the shares assuming to sell in future.
Short is selling the shares first
Long unwinding is selling the shares bought.
Short covering is buying the shares which was sold initially. -

Analysis is based on generalities. Trading has to be precise.
Analysis can be performed in any market, based on common technical analysis knowledge. Trading shouldn’t take place in any market that hasn’t been tested for compatibility and profitability with a particular strategy/trade setup. -
