Share holder don’t have direct rights to ask for refund or dividends, However he can influence
the decision by voting for the selection of directors.

Director: Nominated by owners of company to head the company. Responsible to take the

Shares/ Securities are held in an electronic format in an account named as DEMAT account.

Investment in stock market means holding a company share for long duration (say Years) with a motive
to earn dividend and appreciation of share prices.
while trading is of short duration (Say days/ Month) with a motive to make money from the difference
of the traded prices.

NSE is the first to introduce derivatives in stock trading. This motivates lots of traders to trade in NSE over BSE. Even though
BSE now introduces the derivative segment the volume & Liquidity is lot higher in NSE over BSE.
