The moment the buyer and seller agrees to a price the deal is done, however exchange takes a maximum of t+2 days for settlement. Electronic trading has ensured deals to be completed at the click of a button at that instance itself provided a price is reached between a buyer and a seller.
When the price of the share gets compromised between buyer and seller deal is made. Settlement takes place T+2.
Whenever the traders expectations are met a trade deal can be initiated and proceeded towards settlemet . However the maximum time limit for a trade is restricted to the trading instrument opted. Settlement time has a TAT of 2.
