Time for trading largely depends on the investor. For instance, intraday trade, trading is completed on the same day. An investor may decide to buy shares now and sell them after a few days. But however, the process of order placement for buying/selling shares is a matter of few minutes.

Depends upon the type of trading, duration to complete the trading will differ. If it is Intra day trading, the duration should end within a day. A trade duration can be extended to an unlimited time if the buyer wants to sell the shares later. But in case, if the trader has sold the shares without buying them, within afternoon 3.30, he has to buy the shares which otherwise ends up in penalty.

Trade it is classified in to several criteria’s If a person had done enough working and if he wishes to buy at CMP, (Current Market Price). Then can place the best bid currently trading and the trading would get executed.but while he placing the bid if the market moves either up or down. he should wait till his bid gets executed. the same way if a person is wanting to execute the order at a particular price then he should wait till the market reached that place.

For closing a trade if a person is planning for a target and if he has already done the first half then he can place the bid for the target price. We cannot predict but any time it may achieve either withing minutes or hours or in a day or in a week or in months. it depends upon his target.

For executing a trade less than a second is enough.

It will likely take six months to a year–trading or practicing every day until you are consistent enough to pull a regular income from the market.
