A stock market is a place where stocks are being exchanged from one person to another.
It is a place were traders buy and sell stocks , here stocks are in the form of equity shares .
Stock Market(like any other market) is the place where traders (buyers and sellers) meet for trading stocks, where each stock claims a part ownership of the company whose stocks are being traded. It is also called Share Market (because each stock represents a share of the company) or Equity Market (because all the stocks have equal rights over the company).
