What is the Pro / Cons of Equity market from traders’ perspective?

Pros- Liquidity , lots of choices, opportunity for substantial returns

Cons- Volatility of the market and investing can be time consuming

It is an investment

People who has invested may get returns from it

Disadvantages:

100% amount should be paid while buying

The buyer can witness Money only if he sells it

Pros:  Best suited for long term investment.  One can expect dividends which usually is more than the normal investment.  Daily time required to follow the market is very minimum.

Cons:  Requires huge initial investment as one has to pay the full amount to buy stocks.  Equity market is not as lucrative as futures and Options market in the shorter term.  The amount required in the Futures and Options market is only a percentage of the Equity market amount.
