Order can be placed through on-line or through broker by contacting him.
There are two types of orders they are buy and sell order.
Order is valid till the market opened , otherwise the order will be cancelled
Order can be placed online using broker website, or , call the broker and place order on your behalf. the calls will be recorded by the broker.
Types of Order – Buy Order & Sell Order.
Validity of order- For derivatives, positional future or option orders, valid till last thursday of the month. For derivatives intraday , <span style=”line-height: 1.5;”>future or option orders, valid till 3:15 or 3:20Pm depending on brokers time of last order. For cash purchase of stock, valid until sold by the trader / investor.</span>
* Order can either be placed online or through contacting the broker over the phone.
* Types of orders – Buy order and Sell Order.
* Validity of Order is generally Good for Day (order is valid till the End of the day – if not executed than it is cancelled); Some brokers give you the privilege of Good Till Date (Valid till the specified date); and Good Till Cancelled (Valid till cancelled) Orders too, but these are special cases.
