It is not mandatory to close the Buy option during intraday, but one must close the Sell option. If not then one has to pay penalty for not closing the option.
Usually it is recommended to close the intraday position (both buy and sell) on the same day as the global markets can affect the price movements.

Yes. Since 40% of market is contributed by FII, any strategy opted by them due to global markets may affect the price movements.

Understanding the price movements for a single day is called Intraday Analysis.
Positional analysis is done with weeks to years of data and to understand the price movements.

Technical indicators help in understanding the strength of the trend and supply & demand zones.
These indicators are merely for the understanding the market but not to make buy and sell decisions unlike other analysis.

Moving average is a technical indicator used to identify the trend direction and to indicate the support and resistance levels.
This is more accurate and useful during a trending phase.

RSI – Relative Strength Index, it measures the speed and change of price movement.
Buying zone- when a stock goes below the 30% mark and then again goes above the 30% mark, at this point once should buy the stock.
Also if a stock is sold then once should buy it either by the end of the day or when the price goes to 30% mark.

In Fibonacci series, when a number is divided by the previous number the approximate ratio is 1.6180.
Similarly when the number is divided by next number the ratio is .6180, divided by next to next number ratios is .3820, and so on.
This indicates the retracement.
Hence 1.618 is referred as golden mean/ golden ratio/ phi.

Consolidation (Area) GAP – appears in non-trending area with low volume
Breakout GAP – appears in trending area with high volume
Runaway GAP – appears in trending area with normal volume
Exhaustion GAP – appears in the trending area with high volume

In technical analysis, the area where no trading takes place is called a GAP.
It’s the difference between the highest and lowest price of two consecutive days.

Hammer/ Hanging man is a trend reversal pattern.
Since this is a very powerful pattern and the returns are more than the risk (usually 1:2), this is very popular.
Buy – When the price goes above the hammer’s high or hangman’s low or stop loss
Sell – When the price goes below the hammer’s low or hangman’s high or stop loss
