Positional trading means buying stocks and selling it after a period of longer duration to make profit.
Intraday trading means buying and selling shares or vice versa within a day(bet. 0900 hrs to 1530hrs) to make profit.

Once we create a Trading and De mat account, we get a client ID through which we can login online where we are getting connected to the stock exchange through the broker.Thus we are put in queue where the buyers and sellers meet.

Orders are placed online or offline (phone calls) through brokers.
Types of order are buy order and sell order
orders are valid till 1530 hrs of that day.

Investment is a long term process where u hold the asset for longer periods to generate profit.
Trading is a short term process where u trade the asset (stocks) within a short span based on market behavior to make profit.

IPO means Initial Public Offer, when a company requires huge capital they go to public through advertisements to issue IPO to generate the capital required.
Process involved is that we have to fill the company form when interested in their public issue and the money to be paid to them, now a days through online facility.

Share holder doesn’t have the right to ask for a refund, has to go to secondary market for trading his or her shares. Same way giving dividend to the share holder is also purely company choice and the share holder doesn’t have right to ask for a dividend.

A company initially collects capital from public in the form of Initial Public Offer(IPO) through advertisements, this is called Primary market.
So when the invested public wants their money back they have to go to stock markets to exchange their shares for money, this is called Secondary market.

Promoters are the people who developed the company from the scratch, they necessarily need not be owners of the company.
Directors or CEO are nothing but Employees of the company who actually manage and run the company.
