Positional trading uses technical methods to analyse stock movement and helps us in forecasting.

Intraday trading is trading within a day. creating and closing long and short positions within a day – driven by market sentiments.
Positional analysis is used to buy the stock and hold it for more than a day we have more time, to make a decision.

Technical indicators are readymade tools available to help the traders identify the trend.
It is different from other analysis in that it does not directly use demand and supply or price or volume which is the basis for other indicators it is the follower of buyer / seller behaviour patterns.

Moving average is the average of closing prices of stock for defined period, usually for 21 days.
Prices above the average indicates bullish trend and below indicates bearish trend.

RSI is Relative Strength Index and is technical indicator for assessing the movement of stock prices.
RSI is considered overbought when above 70 and oversold when below 30.

Fibonacci retracement uses horizontal lines to indicate support and resistance.

Naming a gap is possible depending upon where they appear in the chart.
There are four types of gaps:
Area Gap.
Breakout Gap.
Runaway Gap.
Exhaustion Gap.

A hammer and hanging man indicated a very strong trend reversal.
It is popular as it give more returns than usual patterns.
Hammer shows the strength of buyers – bullish trend
Hanging man shows the strength of sellers – bearish trend
Create long position, buy when the price goes above the hammer high and short when hammer’s low.
