To create a triangle pattern there must be atleast two to three swings , two highs and two lows. Mostly triangles are continuation pattern, sometimes they signal a reversal. There are three types of triangles, symmetrical, ascending and descending. Breakout is expected on 70% of the triangle. Time duration minimum 1.5 months. Target is the sum of breakout and the height of the triangle and stop loss is the difference between the breakout and the height of the triangle.
