    Share holder are the people who own the company he who has every rights in the company but that also to an certain extent, decision and execution are carried out by CEO to improve the business, share holder can’t ask for dividend/profit if the executive decide that the money is need for further improvement.

    Promoter are the people who promote the business and get paid. No rights unless they own share from the company

    Director who’s responsible person have control over the entire company who was nominated by share holder to take care of their business. sometimes he also own share in the business, play dual role in the organisation.

    A shareholder in simple terms is a person who buys &holds any share of a company

    Promoter is the founder of the business who fuels it, raises capitals ,targets initial leads and chasing business opportunities etc..

    Director: who lead or supervises the particular area of a company

    Share Holder – a person who buys the share of a company and has rights to its profits is called a share holder.
    Promoter – a person who started the project or company from the basic is a promoter. He raises fund through IPO and does not have right in the profit of the company.
    Director – These are the people who runs the company a amy or may not have share in the company. In most cases the directors own an amount of share in the company.

    Share Holder : A person or institution that holds a stock of a public or private corporation. A share holder is a part of the owner of the company.

    Rights and Roles :

    1) Right to Sell the Share

    2) Right to Vote

    3) Right to claim dividend if declared

    Promoter : It can be a founder himself or a institute that promotes the stock to solicit general public to invest in the company to raise fund.

    Rights and Roles :

    1 ) A promoter ( if owner) conceives an idea for the setting-up a business.

    2) Makes preliminary investigations and ensures about the future prospects of the business.

    3) Prepares various documents and gets the company incorporated.

    4) Raises the required finances and gets the company going.

    Managing Director : A managing director is employed by the business, often by the chairman to run the organization. He manages the board of directors and oversees the performance of the business thus reporting back to the chairman.

    Rights and Roles,

    1) Maintaining the overall performance of the company.

    2) Producing and planning strategic operating plans and objectives for the long-term future.

    3) Keeping in regular contact with the board of directors or chairman and to maintain a positive relationship.
