Who are share holder, promoter, and director? What is the role and rights of them?

A shareholder is a person / company / institution who owns atleast a share of a company`s stock.

Promotor is a generic term associated with the person who  starts a business.This person is also referred to as the founder of the business.

A director is a person who leads / supervises the companys affairs.
