    Positional trading is the trading which involves more than a day.

    Intraday trading is the trading within a day.

    In case of any discrepancy, settlement is done by SEBI and same party or counter party is penalised depending on situation.

    If the investor does a trading of delivery option like around 1 to 2 months, then it is considered as positional trading.

    If the investor buys and sells the shares of a company on the same day, then it is considered as intraday trading.

    Positional trading is a trading wherein the stock is kept more than a day. Intraday trading is a trading wherein the stock is bought the same day and sold the same day before the market closes.

    Intraday trading is the buy and sell of shares within one trading day .

    Positional trading is buy and hold method , for a day or a week or month or longer depending on the trade plan .
