Intraday Trading : If a trade either buy or selling of Share is done in a day it has to be closed on the same day. like if you create a long position you should cover it and if your create a short position the same way you should buy it before the market is getting closed.
Positional Trading : Positional Trading means after going through the study of a particular stock the stock shows that to achieve a certain target it will take some days or weeks or for some stock a month or some months time to achieve. This is called as positional trading. Usually traders do positional trading for few weeks or a month.
Intraday trading refers to entering and exiting positions on the same day before the market closes. We are bound to close our position at the end of the trading day no matter it ends in profit or loss. On the other hand, positional trading involves entering a position on one day and exiting it a few days or weeks later.
