Yes, We need to close the intraday position before market close. Because of below reason

    1. We take the trading based on the current movement.
    2. If we hold for next day means, The risk is may be high.
    3. So that it is not a business.
    4. For positional trade we have used some different analysis technique.
    5. Intraday analysis doesn’t helps to positional trade

Note : we can close the position based of positional trade sctipt in same day itself

We need to close the intraday position on the same day because the analysis of trend is for the current day only, if we hold the stock for more than one day the RISK will be more, based on only technical analysis it is mandatory to close both the intraday position on the same day,

The Intraday positions should be close in the same day, other wise the broker’s software will close your positions automatically.

Although, we can change our position as carry-forward, by call and request with the broker, before end of closing time.

It is mandatory only for short positions to buy back  the shares sold before market close. Long position can be taken as delivery trade

intraday trading is trading within a day so we need to close the positions. it is mandatory when short positions are created to avoid penalty. it is not mandatory when long position is created.
