    IPO is Initial Public Offering. When a company needs more capital it offers the public to buy the shares of the company through which it raises capital.
    The IPO process starts by giving an advertisement in the news paper inviting people to apply for the shares.

    IPO stands for Initial Public Offer.

    whenever business man wishes to raise capital to start any business activity by forming a public limited company, he offers company ownership to public in the form of shares. this offer is called IPO.

    regulatory body approval (in India SEBI) is required to issue IPO.

    Public can buy shares of company by using trading account and shares brought are stored in DEMAT accounts in electronic form.

    IPO means initial public offer issued by company with the approval from sebi to raise capital from public for the first time .The process of appying through IPO is either through demat account or though physical application with the quoted bidding price in multiples of permitted lots .For individuals there will be a limit to apply  upto 2 lacs per person .
