    IPO is Initial Public offer where company issue share to public direct.  To apply for IPO we need to fill in application form and send it to the company. In current state most full service brokers have the option to apply for IPO electronically. Based on the no shares available and application received company will allot the shares .

    IPO means initial public offer if a company needs money for a development he can go for bank loan or collect money from public and issues share certificate to them the company gets money directly from the public at very first time is called IPO. The process for applying IPO is First the company needs to announce for IPO and how many shared are going to be sold we need to apply how much we need. if we apply for more share then company will allot the shares as per the requirement of other buyers.

    A Public company can approach SEBI and apply for IPO after going through certain process.
