intraday analysis is totally differs from positional analysis

in intraday analysis after analysing Ā the intraday Ā parameters ( market direction, FII activity, market breadth ) stocks are selected to trade.

but in positional analysis first stock is selected then it is analysed using technical analysis to trade it or not.

Intraday analysis is the following the price movement looking to make many trades over the course of a single trading session(with in the day). The primary focus is trend and reversal points, with the goal of identifying bullish and bearish biases that active traders can put to use .The session is influence by numerous factors like ,economic and earning announcement ,unforeseen events that throws the market completely out.

Positional analysis Scans the charts for recognizable patterns that are persistent and profitable over time.

Intraday analysis is understanding the market momentum and taking position along with the trend to make profit by making trades and covering them on the same day. It is different from positional analysis where the approach is not bottom up, but rather top down.
