Intra day analysis is following the intraday price movement of a stock using real time charts in order to benefit from the price fluctuations within a trading day. It depends on the global market trend, market sentiments, etc…
Positional analysis on the other hand is analysing the past performance of a stock to determine its current trend. It requires a few days or weeks or even months of data to analyse.
Intraday Analysis : Is following the Global market trends,Sentiments, Indian Market Nifty50 Neutral positive, Top two preferences.
Positional Analysis : Past performance, Technical Analysis, Long Term.
Analysis done for trade with in a day is called intraday, it is based on market sentiments, sector movement stock volume movement etc

Positional trading- choose a stock and hold on to it for minimum a day, months or years till you close the trade.
