What is intraday analysis? How it is different from positional analysis

Intraday analysis is the analysis of market to do trading with in a day. In this analysis we follow market sentiments, Indian market, Global market, FII activities,etc.

where as in positional analysis we study the past trend (demand and supply) and then predict the future trend on a long term perspective.

Intraday analysis is done to do trading within the day of buying and selling. In this analysis we follow the global market, FII presence, market sentiment etc., whereas in positional analysis we see the trend charts, price patterns and then decide the future price or trend

Buying and Selling the stocks in a day is called intraday analysis.  Positional analysis is different from intraday analysis because it follows the long term trading which is more than a day using demand and supply.

In Intraday the trade happens on the same day. In positional it may take days or months to complete the trade.

Intraday- The market is driven by sentiment henceforth trade decisions are based on market sentiment.

Positional- Sufficient timing is taken for analysis of a stock and then the trade decision is taken.

Intraday- Analysis of global markets, FII, Indian market indices, etc

Positional- Charts, Technical analysis, Trend analysis, etc.

Intraday analysis is analysis done within the day on a stock for trading purposes. It is different from Positional analysis because in Intraday there is lot of market swing so selection of stock has different criterias.
