Positional analysis is done on weekly/monthly basis. Intraday analysis requires trader to complete the trade within the same day and T+2 day
In intraday we analysis with a view to enact both buy and sell in the same day according to current activities of the market. In positional trading we postpone sell according to our expected price . So we can not follow the same analysis for both the cases.
Intraday analysis is done on same day but in the positional analysis is for a more than a day and positional analysis is done with the various price movements and types of charts but in intraday we follow only market movements.
Intraday analysis is analysis of market to do trending within a day. Here we have to study the market movement on that particular day instead of its past trend. Where as positional analysis studies the past data of particular day which is applied for future trending. Intraday trending has to be finished within the same working day.
Intraday analysis completely follows the global market,indian market,FII activities, market breadth(advance decline ratio),market breadth (turnover basis).
It does not have anything to do with price,volume,demand,supply,etc,.
Positional analysis is using past data and forecasting shortterm future.
It takes into account of demand,supply,price,volume etc,.
