What is the difference between Trading and Analysis?

Trading— buying and selling of shares/stocks/instruments through brokers/online
Analysis– studying stock performance/trend in the past (by using tools like Dow theory, Candlestick chart, price pattern etc, arriving a logic on future movement of stock) , helping to take decision for trading in rational value.
