    Consolidation – in a trading range a area gap is formed

    Breakout – when price range give breakout from its trading range

    Runaway – sellers lead the way

    Exhaustion – If runaway gap is filled on a same day

    Consolidation is non trending area

    breakout is price move out of non trending area with a gap.

    After breakout gap if another gap appears immediately after breakout it is run away gap

    If gun away gap filled on the same  day then it is exhaustion gap

    Area gap – Area gap occurs in non trending area. The gap is expected to be filled in upcoming days.

    Breakout gap – breakout gap occurs above non trending area. The gap is not expected to be filled and bull is expected.

    Run away gap – Appears above breakout zone in trending area, it denotes the strength of buying. Bull is expected.

    Exhaustion gap – This forms due to large selling pressure, the large gap formed on the beginning of the day will be closed by EOD and bear is expected further.

    Break out- Gap after a congestion, which occurs in the non trendy area. It’s not expected to fill if volume is high , its an sign of uptrend in market.

    Exhaustion gap- Happens at the end of a trend on high volume. The gap is not followed by new highs or lows, and the gap may be unusually wide. After the gap, price consolidates or reverses direction. Commonly occurs after continuation gaps. Exhaustion gaps usually close within a week.

    Runaway- Gap occurs during a straight-line advance or decline. Price makes new highs or lows without closing the gap. Volume is usually high.

    consolidation – Occurs in a congestion, and closes quickly with in few days. on the day of gap volume is high.

    area gap – it is formed in the non trending zone and it will be filled easily

    breakout gap- after a area gap if a gap appears with high volume means then it is breakout gap.

    runaway gap- formed above the breakout area and it is called runaway because people who created short position will be now buying the shares and exists the market

    exhaustion gap – the gap which is filled in a day is called exhaustion gap
