Shareholder- someone who holds shares of a company
Promoter- someone who promotes the company and asks people to invest (not necessarily an owner)
Director- CEO,MD: someone who runs the business
Primary market- transaction between company and people; the first time a company decides to sell its shares (IPOs); happens at face value
Secondary market- transaction between buyers and sellers (people only); deals with second hand stock; happens at share price

    This will be the appropriate answer for the question What are the similarities and differences from other markets?:
    In terms of similarities – Buying and selling happens, price depends on demand and supply.
    In terms of difference – no physical product is involved, it is a regulated market.
