when we plan to buy a share , we open a D-mat account with the help of broker and login account from broker for buy/sell of shares.if we are interested in any shares we can place a buy order in which it notifies a broker and broker place a order in exchange , once the price u quoted meets a counterpart price, stock trading happens.
