In intraday trading it is mandatory to close the trading in case short is opted.
When long is opted we still better close on same day. because there is no hard and fast rule the loss is covered the next day.

RSI indicates the strength of price movements.
RSI>70 means the stocks are over bought
RSI<30 means the stocks are over sold.
the movement between 30 and 70 is bullish and
the movement between 70 and 30 is bearish.
