Thiyagharajan replied to the topic Why do we need to close the intraday position on the same day? Is it mandate? in the forum Intraday Analysis for Day Traders 7 years, 10 months ago
For Intraday trading we consider overnight news/global market performance/current market fluctuations and performance/latest news/weekend news/global factors etc.
This information is good for today only and the above factors will change tomorrow. This is why we need to close the intraday position on the same day.Mandate: No.

Thiyagharajan replied to the topic Do global markets impact the intraday price movement? How? in the forum Intraday Analysis for Day Traders 7 years, 10 months ago
Yes. Global markets do affect the intraday price movement.
We have lot of foreign investors and institutional investors who based on the market sentiments in other markets like us/china/japan would be doing heavy selling or heavy buying in Indian markets also.
