It is not mandatory to close the Buy option during intraday, but one must close the Sell option. If not then one has to pay penalty for not closing the option.

Usually it is recommended to close the intraday position (both buy and sell) on the same day as the global markets can affect the price movements.

Global Markets which open after the closure of the domestic market can impact the price movements for next opening day.

By following the top down approach method

    1. Global market movement

    2.FII activity of previous day

    3. Indian Market moment

    4. Market breadth analysis – Both price and turnover

    5. Selection of sectorial index

    6. Selection of company based on % change and turnover for the day

Yes. Since 40% of market is contributed by FII, any strategy opted by them due to global markets may affect the price movements.

    Ideal time:

    10:00 am to 11:45 am

    02:00 pm to 02:45 pm

In positional analysis the time required to identify the trend is high and unlike in intraday where the buy and sell options have to decided real quick.
