Lakshman Chandrasekaran replied to the topic What is the IDEAL time to trade intraday? in the forum Intraday Analysis for Day Traders 8 years, 4 months ago
The ideal times to do intraday trading would be around 10 – 11:3o and around 14:00 to 15:00.
During 10 to 11:30 hrs we analyse the asian markets and during 14:00 to 15:00 hrs we analyse the european markets.
This is required as we need to understand global sentiment.

Lakshman Chandrasekaran replied to the topic Why do we need to close the intraday position on the same day? Is it mandate? in the forum Intraday Analysis for Day Traders 8 years, 4 months ago
Positions have to be closed within a day otherwise it is not called intraday trading.
Short positions have to be closed on the same day because of settlement reasons, whereas long positions can be held, and if held it would be called positional trading.
