Please review your long position, since you r working with the previous chart it may appear solid, but as per Mr Murugan’s class, your long position is a high risk trade, since there is no evidence of high volume. I just want to comment my view. ATB.

two equvivalent tops formed in a line chart with in the period of 2 months.when the volume in the right top is high we can go for short position.

L.S volume should be low and R.S volume should be high
When the breakout point crosses the previous neckline then bullish trend happens.

triangle pattern is formed when the 5 tops and 5 bottoms of a candle chart of 45 days of time are joined that forms a triangle.the breakout must be aound the 70 percent of the area of the triangle.here a long position can be created.

Cup pattern takes place with the time period of six months. During this period accumulation happens.
Once the cup pattern rises up the price crosses the previous low following a bearish trend. It is advised to create a long position when the price crosses the price before the formation of cup patterm.

Double Top – Go Long when the price crosses the previous top
Triangle Pattern – Go Long when at breakout – long which bullish and short when bearish
Flag Pattern – Go long when price crosses the previous top with high volume

Flag : Candle stick
Triangle : Candle Stick
Both Head and shoulder : Line
Double Top / Bottom : Line

Head and shoulder is formed when there is a shoulder-tall head-shoulder trend during a period of 3 months.
The volume on left shoulder should be high.
Volume on right shoulder should be low.
If the price goes below the neck line then a short position should be created. -

The Dow theory helps to understand the demand and supply of the previous 2 years chart which is a long term.
The price pattern gives the characteristics of the price behaviour. It is a short term to identify the entry, exit and stoploss.

Flag pattern is a rectangular pattern that gives bullish trend within a short period of time.
Conditions:
1. There must be steeper pole between 70 degree (60-75 degree is acceptable)
2. After the steeper pole there must a rectangular pattern with a low volume for 3-7 days.

for dow theory we use line chart for daily graph for a trend of two to three months of time.

Dow theory can be used for analysing the long term trade not for short term or intra trade. it remains on the top of analysis because it the base for all kinds of anakysis.

support is the buyers zone where demand is greater than supply
resistance is the sellers zone where supply is greater than demand.
